Alberto Seveso’s digital illustrations often feature human forms made up of a layered technique creating a 3D look. Seveso takes the original photos of the people and faces and changes them somewhat, most of the people are still recognizable once the digital piece is complete. From piece to piece he is constantly playing with ideas on what to show and what to hide, involving both the original photo and the background.

After looking at his different techniques and works of art I have really come to like his style. I was already interested in the “patched” look; however, he takes it to a whole new level, by keeping significant parts of the original photo in the digitally created image. The images shown here are examples of Alberto Seveso’s work the first is called “The Three Graces” and the second is an ad created for Google. These are my two favorite pieces that Seveso has done so far but I keep discovering more and more of his work that I like so it’s hard to tell.
